BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Article 3 of the Dorchester Swim and Tennis Club By-Laws states that "The property, affairs and business of the Club shall be managed by the Board of Directors".

The Dorchester Board of Directors consists of 15 members - president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and 11 board members.

MEMBERSHIP

Dorchester membership is limited to 250 families who each own one share

of stock in the pool. Stock can be purchased after membership is approved,

then annual dues are assessed each year. Dues for the swim season are $600.00 for a family membership, $600.00 for a single plus one membership, or $325.00 for a single membership. As owners, we all pitch in to help prepare the pool and grounds for each new season. All members are required to participate in one spring work day (for a total of at least 4 hours per family) or pay an extra $100 fee to opt out of their work day requirement.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP

Social memberships are limited to 20 families at a cost of $800 per year. Social members do not own stock and do not have voting privileges. Social members

are not required to participate in a work day.
